Our People

Jason Prisk

Jason has been involved in Chartered Accounting since 1990 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992. Following 6 years working in Auckland and the arrival of his first child, Jason relocated back home to the North in 1996 and has worked in a Partner/Director role since that time.

In conjunction with his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Auckland University, Jason also holds a Diploma in Rural Studies from Massey University. These, in conjunction with his continuing professional development, enables him to offer qualified experience and expertise to his specialty areas of both rural and commercial property clients and all business clients.

In particular, Jason works closely with rural customers to assist with forecasting and cashflow management, and with commercial property owners, managing day-to-day administration, market rent reviews and changes to lease agreements. Having numerous customers with commercial property investments, both in Whangarei and Auckland, Jason is continually investigating and researching changes or developments in the market.

Jason is also passionate about supporting and upskilling the Summit team and is very driven when it comes to keeping Summit ahead of the game. He is always looking for opportunities to advance the company, keeping up with developments in taxation and IT in order to offer a better service to clients. Jason also enjoys thinking outside the square, helping clients to achieve their objectives in the most effective way possible.

Outside of work; Jason spends time supporting his three children through their continuing tertiary studies and overseas adventures. In between he finds time to relax on the family's 15 acre block at Maungatapere. When time allows, the family also escapes to the family bach at Ohawini Bay, enjoying plenty of time on the water.  More recently he has found enjoyment in cycling and discovering the Otago Rail Trails.

Lisa Eynon

Lisa has worked in the Chartered Accounting environment since 1995 when she commenced her working career as an office junior and has been working with Jason since 1996.

Each day is different for Lisa, who tackles everything from managing workflow, client queries, undertaking client reviews, staff management and providing a key contact for Jason's clients in his absence. Effectively Lisa is 2nd-in-command for Jason and an integral part of the team.

She values the fact that at Summit the focus is on the people and the business behind the numbers, rather than just the numbers themselves.

Lisa enjoys the variety of her role, with new challenges every day and the opportunity to work directly with clients and staff on a wide range of matters.

She particularly enjoys client planning, working with clients on forecasting, cash flow and budgeting and is heavily involved in assisting clients with cloud based software systems.

Lisa moved from the UK to Whangarei in 1986 and has been here ever since, aside from a two and a half year break in Tauranga from 1999 to 2002 when she moved south to be with her husband and his family.

Since commencing her career in the chartered accounting field, Lisa has completed her New Zealand Diploma in Business and is now working towards her Business Degree.

Outside of work, Lisa has three young boys who are full of energy and always looking for an excuse to play.
