Angela Lucas

Angela has been with us since June 2004, and provides hands-on administration support to the accounting team and to clients, focusing on day-to-day work rather than annual requirements.

Prior to joining us, Angela lived in the UK for 20 years, 14 of which she worked in a legal practice running the accounts department. She then moved back to New Zealand and took up a role with the Northland Rugby Union, which she thoroughly enjoyed for five years before becoming an integral part of our team.

Over the last fourteen years, Angela has experienced varying roles within the team, most recently focusing on client administration. This includes monthly bills payments, monitoring rents and tenants for commercial property owners and other tasks such as invoicing and monitoring bank accounts. Angela also looks after administering client payrolls and attending to the monthly filing with IRD.

Angela really enjoys the interaction she has with clients on a daily basis, developing long-term relationships with those she works with regularly.

Outside of work, Angela has a love of gardening that is shared by her wider family, and she also enjoys being on or near the water, including beach walks, swimming and kayaking.

She supports her local community as administrator for the Whangarei Life Education Trust and as a volunteer with the local film society. She also enjoys travelling whenever possible.
